The Toyota Prius Prime EV takes efficiency to the next level. It also boosts an impressive EPA estimated 25 miles of full-electric EV driving range, which is 15-20% more than its peers. Another nice feature of the Toyota Prius Prime is the enhanced hybrid battery warranty which from 2020 onward will cover 10 years or 150,000 miles, whichever is earlier (up from 8 years or 150,000 miles). The Prime Prius has 3.3 kWh battery acceptance rate (how fast you can charge the car) so you can use level 1 or level 2 charging. We supply a range of Toyota Prius Prime EV Plugs and EV chargers to suit your needs. If you don’t plan on upgrading your EV any time soon, then a level 1 NEMA 5-15 (regular residential plug) will work well. If you plan on upgrading your EV in the future, a level 2 NEMA 40 amp 14-50 or NEMA 6-50 TOTALEV charger will charge this car at its fastest charge rate and will also provide a much faster charger for your next plug-in or pure electric vehicle.
