Lincoln is expanding its electric vehicle lineup by introducing the Lincoln Star, joining the competition alongside the Ford Mach-e and VW ID 4. Due to its battery size, the Lincoln Star is best paired with Level 2 EV chargers, especially hardwired ones or a NEMA 14-50 level 2 EV Charger. Level 1 EV charging is not recommended due to the substantial size of the car’s lithium-ion battery. Recommendation: Our suggestion is to opt for our 40-amp Level 2 Lincoln Star EV chargers, ensuring a fast and efficient overnight residential charge, as well as allowing you to charge during off peak and super off peak hours.
