Jeep’s first plug-in hybrid 4×4! Jeep amps up its electric game with the Wrangler 4xe. The Jeep comes with a high battery acceptance rate (this determines how fast you can charge the car) and therefore lends itself to level 2 charging. As such we recommend a Jeep Wrangler 4xe NEMA 14-30 24 amp 5.8 kWh or a NEMA 14-50 40 amp 9.6 kWh EV charger. NEMA 14-30 EV plug types are sometimes already installed at homes. The NEMA 14-50 40 amp EV charger and NEMA 14-30 24 amp will charge your Wrangler 4xe at its maximum charging speed (or close to it with the 14-30 EV plug type) and also futureproof you for your next EV as batteries get bigger. Recommendation: If you have frequent trips and want to charge your battery up quickly in between trips for more electric driving (saving gas miles and trips to the gas station), we recommend the Jeep Wrangler 4xe NEMA 14-50 , 40 amp 9.6 kWh EV charger. We provide a range of other Jeep Wrangler 4xe EV plug and EV charger types. Charge time are fast! Approximate charge time from empty < 2 hours (1 hour from a 50% battery) with a NEMA 14-50 9.6 kWh charger.
