The Mini Cooper SE pure electric offered a large range upgrade on its plug-in hybrid Countryman sister. Mini combined its signature design with an all-electric battery pack. The Mini Cooper comes with a 33-kWh battery pack and a reasonable charge acceptance (how fast the battery can receive power) of 7.2 kWh. A level 2 Mini Cooper EV charger is recommended for this car given the battery size and acceptance rate of the battery. We recommend our NEMA 14-50 level 2 TOTALEV EV charger, which will provide a 9.6kWH charge providing the maximum charge speed the battery can accept and also futureproof you if you upgrade to a larger EV in the future.
