The completely overhauled Chevrolet Bolt, now equipped with GM’s Ultium battery technology, promises enhanced vehicle ranges. Notably, it incorporates flagship LFP batteries to effectively reduce production costs. Staying true to its predecessors, the Chevrolet Bolt 2025 will rely on Level 2 EV charging. With a 240-volt Level 2 EV charger, residential charging times can be achieved in less than 8 hours. While we suggest Level 1 EV chargers for on-the-go mobility charging, our recommendation for residential use remains a Level 2 EV charger for efficient and convenient charging at home. Charge times are fast for the new Chevrolet Bolt given the battery size and the charge acceptance rate. With a fast level 2 Chevrolet Bolt EV charger, charging can be achieved around 8-9 hours.
