The Chevrolet Volt plug-in hybrid was introduced in 2010 and has quickly become one of the biggest selling plug in hybrid vehicles. It was voted North American Car of the Year’s “2011’s Greenest Vehicle.” It then became the all-time best-selling plug-in vehicle in the U.S. with three successive generations of vehicle and helped build the electric vehicle market in North America. The Chevrolet Volt is supplied with a level 1 “overnight” EV charger with typical charge times. The new Volt’s large 18.4-kWh battery is larger than many plug-in hybrid competitors in this class. The bigger battery pack on the more recent model means slightly longer charging times with a Chevrolet estimates of 13 hours to recharge from empty. We provide a range of level 1 and level 2 Chevrolet Volt EV chargers to best suit your charging needs from our standard NEMA 5-15 plug level 1 charger to our NEMA 14-50 and NEMA 6-50 TOTAL EV level 2 chargers for faster charger speeds. You may consider an EV plug upgrade to a NEMA 14-50 to compliment you level 1 Chevrolet Volt charger.
